Industries/Energy

Operate on drawings you can trust.

For owner-operators in oil and gas, midstream and power. Operon turns decades of P&IDs and records into a verified asset graph, and keeps LDAR coverage, MOC reviews and the archive in step with the plant.

The station, component by component

Every valve and flange on the drawings is a tag in the register.

A gas meter and regulator station with its LDAR tags in place. Every connector, valve and relief device is counted from the drawings and reconciled against the register, so the one flange pair that is drawn but never tagged turns up before the auditor finds it. Hover any component.

The work today

What operating teams carry every day

01

Drawings that lag the plant

Every MOC and turnaround leaves red-lines behind. When they don't make it back into the drawings, the next decision is made on a picture of a plant that no longer exists.

02

Compliance assembled by hand

LDAR component lists, PSM documentation and audit responses are rebuilt from drawings, spreadsheets and field notes every cycle.

03

Archives nobody can search

Scans of every vintage, superseded revisions and vendor documents sit in folders that only the people who filed them can navigate.

04

Fewer people who know the asset

The engineers who know why a line was rerouted in 1998 are retiring, and their knowledge is in their heads, not the documents.

What Operon does

P&ID digitization & asset graph

Decades of drawings, one verified graph.

Scanned and native P&IDs become a typed graph of equipment, lines, loops and instruments, connected across sheets and verified by your engineers. It becomes the reference every other workflow reads.

  • On symbols, tags and lines, with low-confidence items routed to a person.

  • Lines traced through off-page connectors into one network.

  • Your symbol conventions, not just the textbook ones.

LDAR & compliance coverage

Coverage checked before the auditor asks.

Component lists are drafted from the verified graph and reconciled against your LDAR register, so gaps are found and closed before an audit, with every item traced to its sheet.

  • Components on the drawings that aren't in the register, and the reverse.

  • Audit responses drafted with drawing evidence attached, for a person to approve.

  • Coverage rechecked whenever a new revision lands.

MOC revision deltas

Know what a change touches.

Every revision is diffed against the last, and graph traversal shows what else sits on the affected line: instruments, relief devices, connected equipment. Reviews start from evidence instead of a search.

  • What changed, where, and on which sheets.

  • Everything connected to the change, across sheets.

  • Field changes captured back into the drawings.

Ask the asset

Plain-language questions, sourced answers.

Engineers ask about any unit, line or device and get an answer with the sheet, revision and record behind it, including inspection history and MOC records where they exist.

  • Every answer cites the documents it came from.

  • Drawings, inspection records and MOC history in one question.

  • The full platform can run inside your network.

Questions we hear

  • Yes. The full platform can run on-premise for documents that can't leave your perimeter, and we never train models on your data.

  • Scans of every vintage are normal inputs. Low-confidence items route to an engineer, and nothing reaches your systems before it is verified.

  • No. Your document control system stays the system of record for files. Operon becomes the system of record for what is in them.
